A Group Purchasing Initiative for Senior Service Programs and Community-Based Non-Profit Organizations

Council of Senior Centers and Services of New York City, Inc. (CSCS) created The Marketplace @ CSCS as part of its on-going effort to find substantial savings and entrepreneurial solutions to help our membership address present and future challenges. Initially focusing on cost-efficient food purchasing strategies for senior nutrition programs, The Marketplace @ CSCS has grown to provide money-saving opportunities for any community-based non-profit organization. Although there is no cost to participate in The Marketplace @ CSCS, it is an exclusive benefit to CSCS membership.

CSCS has partnered with InLight Risk Management to provide the most appropriate, cost efficient insurance programs available to CSCS Members.  Acting as the foundation for the program, InLight has structured a commercial automobile program through THOMCO and a group life and disability program through The Hartford, the nation's leading commercial writer of these lines for the healthcare industry.

In addition, InLight is available to deliver extensive expertise in providing education to Boards of Directors, specifically relating to their personal exposure and, more appropriately, how to protect themselves through the purchase of Directors and Officers Liability and other risk financing methods.
